Project Description

The station is intended to be a focal point of the community, enhancing the existing business district and character of the area. The station offers the community a spacious outdoor plaza area leading to a covered loggia. The building program consists of the offices of the Edison Park Chamber of Commerce, a conference room, that opens to the general waiting room to act as community room and 24-hour waiting area. KMI’s services included architectural and engineering design of the station, landscape design for the surrounding areas, resurfacing of the existing parking lots, new platforms, bulletin boards and other building and site amenities.
