Project Description
As part of an ambitious effort to rejuvenate the Near North neighborhood, the Chicago Public School Association upgraded the Manierre Elementary School and expanded with 24,000 square foot addition. With only 8 months to design, bid, and construct, KMI designed and prepared construction documents for the upgrade and modernization of the outdated fire alarm system, brought existing mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems up to code standards, and added today’s technology to one of yesterday’s schools.
