Project Description
As part of value engineering design, KMI redesigned a five-acre parking lot located within a residential community sensitive to the appearance of their surrounding and environment. The goal was achieved with new site lighting, fencing, retaining walls using segmental blocks with a natural stone appearance, grading, drainage, landscaping and parking re-configuration. Special emphasis was placed on the design of the retaining wall to minimize excavation; an essential factor due to adjacent tracks. Color renderings of the site and landscaping presentations were prepared for the municipality.
