Metra 143rd St. Station Parking

Project Description

As part of the overall development of the Orland Park Triangle area, bounded by LaGrange Road, Illinois Route 7, and 143^rd street, the plans called for relocation of the railroad tracks and bridge, construction of a new station and improvements of Route 7.

KMI designed the 600 +/- stall parking lot area with underground storm water detention and with restricted discharge into McGinnis Slough. Disciplines involved were civil, structural, electrical and architectural.
